My Bio

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Stanton and welcome to my blog. I am currently a sophomore majoring in Multimedia Communications at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. When I first came to Rider University as a freshman, I had not yet declared my major. At the time, I was unaware of the path I wanted to take here. By doing a bit of research and taking a few classes, I found my passion in the multimedia area. I graduated high school in 2006 from Council Rock South in Bucks County, PA. My hobbies include baseball, reading, exercising, baking and scrap booking. I am involved in the Big Brother Big Sister Organization of Mercer County, I have been on the Dean’s List of Rider University and this semester I received a Certificate of Merit for my outstanding achievement in French.
Next summer when I feel I am more experienced and qualified, I will be seeking an internship at an advertising company working in their graphic arts area. After I graduate from Rider University, I would like to pursue that same kind of job. I am very interested in using PhotoShop, InDesign and other programs that are similar to them. I am currently taking courses in Publication Design and in the fall, I will be taking the advanced course of Publication Design and a Multimedia Production course. In my current design classes, we have worked in PhotoShop and InDesign to make brochures, posters, layouts, advertisements and much more. I’m sure the classes that I am taking in the future will further my knowledge and interest in graphic design. I have a great working attitude, I work well with others and I won’t finish a project until I am 100% happy with it.
